Obituary of Evelyn R. Cacella

Evelyn R. Bishop Cacella died in Charlotte, NC on 13 July 2018. She was the daughter of Stephen Larkin and Roxie Langley Bishop of Roanoke, AL. She was born in Roanoke 26 October, 1925. She is survived by her children, Rose Zane "Mikki" C. Burgess (John) of Charlotte, NC, Arthur F. Cacella, Jr. of Winston Salem, NC, Alicia C. Hathcock (John Gary) of Mint Hill, NC, Linda C. Jones (Steven) of Nazareth, PA, and Barry M. Cacella (Karen) of Monroe TWP, NJ. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur F. Cacella, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203. A reception for family and friends will immediately follow. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to The Ivey Memory Wellness Day Center, 6030 Park South Drive, Charlotte, NC 28210.
